These Terms & Safety (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Keep Them Moving LLC (“we”, “our”, “Keep Them Moving”, or “the Company”), including use of our website and participation in any dog hiking or adventure services.

By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We may update them from time to time, and continued use of our services means you accept any changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County.

1. Services Provided

2. Eligibility & Requirements

To ensure safety and a positive group experience, all dogs must:

  • Show no aggression toward dogs or humans

  • Be comfortable in group outdoor environments

You agree to disclose any medical, behavioral, or training concerns before participation. Failure to do so may result in suspension of services.

We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog is not a suitable fit for group or private hikes or safety standards.

3. Safety & Outdoor Risks

Outdoor activities naturally come with risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept that these may include:

  • Minor injuries (scratches, sprains, bites, etc.)

  • Wildlife encounters

  • Uneven terrain and trail hazards

  • Weather-related risks (heat, rain, poor air quality)

  • Insects, ticks, and exposure to natural elements

  • Interaction with other dogs, hikers, or environmental factors

We take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety, but certain risks are beyond our control.

4. Off-Leash Activity (If Applicable)

Hikes include off-leash activity in legally permitted areas.

By enrolling your dog, you acknowledge and accept the risks associated with off-leash participation, including the possibility of a dog running off or becoming separated.

We use tracking systems and safety protocols, but we cannot guarantee recovery in every situation.

Dogs must demonstrate appropriate recall, behavior, and social stability to qualify for off-leash participation.

We reserve the right to require leashed participation at any time for safety reasons.

5. Medical Emergencies

In the event of an emergency:

  • We will attempt to contact you immediately

  • If unreachable, we may seek veterinary care on your behalf

  • Basic first aid will be administered if needed

  • In life-threatening situations, we may authorize treatment up to a reasonable limit if necessary to protect your dog’s life

You agree to be responsible for all veterinary, transport, and related costs.

6. Payments & Billing

Keep Them Moving uses Time To Pet for scheduling, invoicing, and payment processing.

  • All clients are required to create and maintain an active Time To Pet account.

  • Hike requests, service scheduling, invoices and payment records will be managed through the Time To Pet platform.

  • Payment information must be kept current and valid within the system.

  • Services may be invoiced automatically through Time To Pet according to the selected service package or booking schedule.

  • Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Keep Them Moving reserves the right to suspend or cancel future services if payment is declined, overdue, or if a valid payment method is not maintained.

  • By booking services with Keep Them Moving, clients authorize payment processing through Time To Pet and its affiliated payment providers.

Late Payments

Invoices not paid within t days of the due date may result in suspension of future services until the account is brought current.

Returned or Failed Payments

Clients are responsible for any fees resulting from declined transactions, chargebacks, or failed payment methods.

7. Cancellations & Scheduling

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Late cancellations may result in a $50 fee, as they limit availability for other dogs.

Repeated cancellations may result in suspension of services.

If we cancel due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, you will not be charged for that hike. However, it may still count toward monthly billing structure if applicable.

8. Weather & Safety Cancellations

We prioritize safety and may cancel or modify hikes due to:

  • Extreme heat

  • Poor air quality (smoke or pollution)

  • Rain, storms, or unsafe trail conditions

  • Trail closures or environmental hazards

We will notify you as soon as possible in these cases.

We reserve the right to pause or terminate services for dogs who:

  • Exhibit aggression or unsafe behavior

  • Show repeated reactivity or disruption

  • Pose a safety risk to other dogs, people, or handlers

  • Are not suitable for group environments

We may recommend private sessions or training before re-entry into group hikes.
